Do I need to update my curb appeal for spring? I think each season you should update aspects of your curb appeal. A small Spring curb appeal update would include an outdoor mat, wreath, planters, flag, mailbox cover and spring flowers. How cute would these two outdoor mats be layered on you porch? I also love the look of hanging planters or these boxes.
You asked if you should add Spring touches to your outdoor living spaces. My answer yes, your porches, patios and decks need some love too. This time of year all that's needed is a good pressure washing to remove last years gunk & a few accessories. Trust me, not much is needed in these areas to freshen up the space, unless you like being over the top like me. Grab yourself some pillows, accessories and a rug and you are set. The overall goal is to make these areas inviting, so they become enjoyable to you again & are put to use. Here are some examples of low cost updates. I love the outdoor patio set, lights, curtains & lanterns! Don't forget to remove & store your cushions to extend the life of them.
Now, let's move indoors & discuss the cute cheap home decor options you need right now. Lately, I've been really enjoying the simplistic style of decorating indoors. The gist of it is to give your home the not over-decorated look & allow each of your pieces a moment to shine individually. It gives your eyes a break & allows for them to gaze over the pieces without feeling rushed. The added bonus is, when the seasons change you aren't left with tons of items to take down, remove & store until next use. I really like that these are economical ideas that will elevate the look of your spaces. Paired with some decorative books, tired tray, & thrifted items these accessories below would be show stoppers! Also, check out these options too.
