What a better place to start this tour than our foyer. In my home I'm not blessed with the amount of space that most have in their foyers & I spoke about that here. Due to that particular issue, I didn't want to have any decor in this area that overwhelmed the space. I decided to go with a more understated route. I'm pretty happy with this area, especially since it's a very quick moment once you enter our home.

Fall Armoire

To the immediate left of our foyer is one of my favorite spaces - the formal living room. As a wife & mom of 5, who also loves home decor I purchase furniture we can use! I didn't want our formal living room to resemble one of those spaces that were like a gallery, reserved for the occasional look as you walked by. In this room are new & collected items as well as family memories. A few days ago on, Instagram I shared a small video of this space. Are you following me?

If this isn't your first time visiting my blog or my Instagram feed you know that directly beside this room is my formal dining room. I just love the fact that it's flanked by these gorgeous statuesque columns. Here is a sneak peek of how I decide placement of things on my holiday table. Stay tuned to my instagram stories & Youtube for the final tablescape.

Now the the hub of our home, the kitchen! My family & I really love hanging out here making memories & delicious meals. I've shared many of our favorite recipes here, on Instagram & Youtube & I'm looking forward to sharing more! These shelves in our kitchen are always updated when the seasons change. I'm so happy with this quick DIY. Do you love how they've been updated for Fall?

Now, last but certainly not least is a sneak peek into our family room. This is where we catch up on all the latest movies, television shows & enjoy nice long cuddles with and without the the fire. When designing this home, I was adamant that we had a wood burning fireplace. Below is the current Fall progress. There will be a wreath placed right where the command hook is. Here's what I'm leaning towards. What do you think?
