I've been doing a lot of research lately about how to further my education, business and portfolio. I know that classes are offered towards the end of my degree program that will teach you how to make a portfolio, but who wants to wait that long? As an interior designer, I will be required to show future clients my previous work. So, I looked to none other than Mr. Google himself and found some interior design portfolios that seemed to include sketches, photoshop and concept boards. For now that is what mine will consist of. I also found some videos on youtube that were helpul. Shout out to Brooke Godfrey-this is going to be so helpful!!
In addition to this I've been working on a concept board for a charity project that is near to my heart. I'll share more about it when it's done. I hope that you will donate to the cause because this unsuspectful individual is more than worthy.
The snap in weather this week has made my husband and I come to the realization that we are in need of a fireplace in our master suite. Since we are off on a wing to ourselves it seems to be a little drafty. This model at home depot has defintely caught my eye. The specs say that it heats up to a 400 sqft room What do you think?
